Good evening guys question mark? If I get a reverse osmosis water filter, will I be okay with soap making and soaps that don’t use surfactants? Even in liquid foam baths and shampoos that have surfactants?

For making soaps with alkali metal hydroxides you do not need deionized water. That RO filter will be plenty adequate for making cleansing products too, just add more chelating agent to your formulas.

Thank you very much. I would like to ask. I live in Greece in Piraeus and the water in my house is not hard at all and I simply have a filter of medicinal activated carbon. I believe this will also do my job or is the RO filter better?

In my formula I use 0.2% Disodium EDTA
