  • Replace elements in liquid laundry detergent

    The following elements we used in liquid laundry detergent but i want to replace these elements,suggest other elements instead those, but the function are same?
    1 .alcohol ethoxylate
    2 .Sodium polyacrylate

    1 alcohol ethoxylate ain’t needed in laundry detergent IMO

    it foams too much and doesn’t clean well.

    IMO Sodium linearalkylbenzene sulfonate works fine on its own. You can add some SLES for better foaming, but it’s better suite for hand prespotters.
    Remember, you don’t want too much foam in laundry detergents.

    2 if Sodium polyacrylate is meant for thickening, then it’s not needed
    you can get enough thickness out of 15% LABSA + NaOH
    you can further thicken it with some salt.
