    Hello all,

Please what should I add in a hair pomade to slow down the rancidity of the oils in the final product? The pomade majorly contains vegetable oils and essential oils. Trying to avoid mineral oils.

    Thanks!

Tocopherol, ascorbyl palmitate and/or other phenolic antioxidants. Synthetic ones would be for example BHT.

If the oils are going rancid you are using the wrong oils. Do the research.

Please list the oils you are using.

Are you getting fresh products from your suppliers?

They might be arriving to you….a the end of their usable life.
