  • Proccess and viability of getting a patent on formula

I’ve been developing and testing a formula that contains 3 terpenes that improves the appearance of redness on the skin. I was thinking of pursuing a patent on this specific combination. I hear that work arounds aren’t that hard to do on patented formulas. I’m also thinking of it to help differentiate my products in the customer’s eye. Any thoughts on the best way to pursue a patent and keep the cost down. Who would I go to to do the testing and get the data needed?

Hello, patent make sense if you wish to attract investors. It is an expensive exercise, does protect only your formulation/product in the countries listed… and you are giving away your formulation = it can now be copied.
