Problems with aroma in an oil-based scrub
Hi! I’m looking for some advice as I formulated oil-based all-natural body scrub with a very subtle smell in the beginning but after a week it smells stronger and not so pleasant.
I don’t know if it’s because of microbiological contamination, but there’s no water and I supposed Naticide would make a little work to avoid that.
Or could it be that oils are getting rancid in a week and tocopherol is not enough?
It is supposed to last at least 6 months but something is going in a bad way…
Here there’s the formula:Simmondsia
Chinensis Seed Oil12 Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil 5 Anigozanthus flavidus (Kangaroo
flower)(and) Helianthus annuus6 Terminalia ferdinandiana (Kakadu plum)
Seed Oil5 Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil 8 Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter 7 Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate
(olivem 1000)3 Pumice powder 5 Coconut CO2 Extract 1 Tocopherol 2 Salt 4,5 Kaolin 40 Mica 0,5 Naticide 1 I would appreciate very much your comments! Thanks!
