  Problems with aroma in an oil-based scrub

  Hi! I’m looking for some advice as I formulated oil-based all-natural body scrub with a very subtle smell in the beginning but after a week it smells stronger and not so pleasant.
  I don’t know if it’s because of microbiological contamination, but there’s no water and I supposed Naticide would make a little work to avoid that.
  Or could it be that oils are getting rancid in a week and tocopherol is not enough?
  It is supposed to last at least 6 months but something is going in a bad way…
  Here there’s the formula:
  

  Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil	12
  Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil	5
  Anigozanthus flavidus (Kangaroo flower)(and) Helianthus annuus	6
  Terminalia ferdinandiana (Kakadu plum) Seed Oil	5
  Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil	8
  Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter	7
  Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate (olivem 1000)	3
  Pumice powder	5
  Coconut CO2 Extract	1
  Tocopherol	2
  Salt	4,5
  Kaolin	40
  Mica	0,5
  Naticide	1

  A couple of things here. Some of your oils are prone to rancidity and I see you used tocopherol, however, 2% might act as pro-oxidant. It’s too high, I advise to reduce it to 0.1%
  Another possibility is that your kaolin wasn’t dry enough.

  Thanks @ngarayeva001! Sure, I thought the higher the tocopherol the better, but make sense! I will try to reduce it! 
  Any advice on other natural antioxidants?
