  • Preservative suggestions for water-in-silicone formula for scar reduction

I have a water-in-silicone formulation designed to reduce scaring. The formula is about 45% water and 47% silicone, plus a few other ingredients, and I want a proper preservation system for the product. Can anyone suggest something for me?

I really like Methyparaben and Propylparaben, but I dont know if these preservatives are effective when used with Silicone. I understand that the Silcione ingredients themselves dont need preservatives per say, only the water phase of the formula, but I think there are preservatives that are designed to be best suited for silicone formulas.

    Thanks
