  Potassium Alum in deodorant

  Hi there! 

  I’m doing some research on how to formulate antiperspirants and deodorants. I’ve found out these ‘Crystals’ products, they’re solids/sticks, and in the ingredients section only Potassium Alum is listed.   Does anyone knows how they formulate these products? Maybe they ‘melt’ the Potassium Alum and put it in the mold? I’m having a hard time figuring it out.
