Hi, I’m a student in the Natural version. I read in the material that Polysorbates is accepted as natural Nonionic Surfactants! I thought all polysorbates are not considered natural! Pls confirm.

    Thanks

Yes, it depends on what natural standard you are following.

It’s all a matter of definition and the label you’re trying to comply with… according to mine, polysorbates are not acceptable especially since there are alternatives from natural resources available. Not saying the alternatives were better.

As far as I know, organic certifications will not allow polysorbates, there are other solubilises you can use that are natural Good luck

No, polysorbates are not accepted by “natural”. What Perry and ng said, everyone have “natural” somewhere else. But reputable “natural” skin care would not touch it. Dr. Pratt is right, organic will not allow it. These days there are many subs. I saw a lot of DIY people using it.
