You need to change borax to a more robust neutralizer for stearic acid, borax has only mild emulsifying properties. But I am still unsure about your Emmy wax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes emmy wax, not sure what that is either.  Or “Jelly” for that matter.  As Milliachemist said, I’d remove the borax.  If you want to condition your hair, you’re better off with BTMS-50 as your emulsifier rather than borax or “emmy”.

If you could convert the ingredient weights to % that would help analyze the formula.  (I notice you areusing 2tsp of colour - weights rather than volume measurements are preferable for accuracy).

Which version of Euxyl do you have?  If its the 9010 version I’d use it at 1.1% and if it’s the K700 version you’ll need to change the pH to below 5 and use at 1.5%.

What is the full name (or INCI) of Anisol?

Here’s an easy to make detangler formula - http://swiftcraftymonkey.blogspot.co.uk/2010/06/conditioners-detanglers-with-incroquat.html and you’ll find other tutorials for hair care products also there.

@martinkul you have to be clear in furnishing the information otherwise it becomes very difficult to suggest anything let alone guiding you. You can probably follow the link posted by MakinSkincare, should help you a good deal.
@MakinSkincare I tried to pull up info on Antisol and the closest I got was to a polyanionic cellulose used in industrial applications but nothing for personal care. BTW its a Dow material.

When formulating it is advisable to start by making small batches (100 to 500g) to test a formula rather than trying to make 5kg straight away. Also when providing a formula for comment/assistance it is easier for others to comment if it is given in percentages and with the INCI names.

Definitely check out swiftcraftmonkeys blog, she has a lot of very useful information for people who are just starting out with formulating. I would advise trying to make some of the formulas that she has on her blog before starting to create your own formulas.

Cetrimonium Chloride is good for detangling.

    Hope this helps.
