Lavender hydrosol = expensive. You would need to use quite high input to get some decent aroma. But if budget allows, why not.
Aroma oil = you mean fragrance oil or essential oil?
Fragrance oil = cheaper, don’t need to use an antioxidant, if solubilised properly you should not worry about separation.
Essential oil = need of antioxidant, again, if solubilised correctly, you should not worry about separation.-
I’m reaching out to gather some insights and suggestions for formulating a self-pleasure balm that achieves the same desired effects without the use of mineral oil or paraffin.
I believe these ingredients might not align with some individuals’ preferences or skin sensitivities, and I’m keen on exploring alternative options.
A current product on the market that I am seeking to replicate has the following ingredients: Mineral Oil, Beeswax, Paraffin Wax, Petrolatum, & Vitamin E.
I’m particularly interested in is understanding the ideal percentages of each ingredient to achieve a balm that offers similar sensations and benefits but without the drawbacks of mineral oil and paraffin. Your expertise and experiences would be invaluable in helping me craft a formula that is both effective and safe.

Hmm, just realised … as it is a lube and most likely will be used on specific areas, check all ingredients are suitable for that use.

Hydrosols cause preservation challenges, so I would avoid them.
