Dear all, i am looking into creating a bath gel derived mainly from plants, (not 100% but mostly) - this is a tricky nieche, but its good for the story…
If possible i would be glad for your assitance:

    1. Could you please advise me on a natural / plant derived thickener that won’t be too sticky - and if possible, won’t be extremely expensive?
(The customer wishes to avoid using “Salts” in their simple term.  i though about Xanthan, but i fear the stickiness…

    2.  The Customer claims that 2.5% Glycerin is not enough in terms of humidity for him. could you advise me other ways to get that “silky” non dry feel? should i just “raise it” until he is pleased? sounds a bit dumb to me…

    3. in order to create a Thicker foaming, what ingredient shold i raise?

Currently using a formula that contains 15.4% Active materials:

20%  Sodium Coceth Sulfate (68% Active material)
    2% Cocaminde DEA  (100% active)
    6% CAPB (30% Active material)
    2.5% Glycerin, 0.1% EDTA, 0.5% perfume, q.s Water

Xantham should work here and it won’t be sticky it will be a bit slimy if that’s ok with you. Get a clear variety (it can be crystal clear).
