What is your thoughts on this clarifying shampoo at pH 10-11?

    Surfactants in active

    4.4% SLS in powder

    5.6% SLES

    1.5% CAPB

    0.5% EDTA

    Caustic soda

    Water

As SLS is in powder form and has high pH, i want it to be preserved with high pH and don’t use any preservative.

During use Product will be diluted and pH will be lower but just to be confidant, is pH 10-11 ok for a clarifying shampoo?

I don’t think making a shampoo at pH 10 or 11 is a good idea.
There is no benefit to it and you might harm someone who uses it.
Keep the pH at around 5.0 and also add some preservative!

Clarifying as in it will remove all the hair, so the scalp will be clean? 😀

Depilatory products are around pH 11 - 11.5. Definitely not a good idea.
