Percentage Formula

It is very simple. All percentages are based on weight, in grams, of ingredients in the mixture:When you are just learning, it is best to stick to making batches that are units of 100. I would add that if you have your measurements in volume (say cups or ounces) you need to convert them to grams and then do the % calculation.
To get mass from volume you need to multiply the density of the liquid by the volume. -
