I am trying to make a thicker cuticle oil, the consistency between syrup and honey.  The catch is it must be oil soluble and as clear as possible.  The latest product I tried was Sucragel xl, it made a gel no matter how much oil I used.  I have spend thousands and have researched for hours but to no success.  Can anyone make a suggestion?

Check Aiglon and Kraton products for oil thickening. Many choices there.

Dr Straetmans Dermofeel Viscolid. It’s also available in palm free version.

Oilkemia 5S (Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (and) Polyurethane-79) has been working well for me,  I’ve tried playing with the Oleocraft line (Polyamide-8 or Polyamide-3 usually) but I haven’t had the same success

I tried Dermofeel Viscolid, it works similar to other saturated oils/fats i.e. turns oil into something like vaseline (or more liquid at lower %). But in my trials, it renders, like other saturated triglyderides or waxes, the oil somewhat opaque. Probably a tick less but that might just be a biased observation.

Have a look at this one: https://www.glamourcosmetics.it/it/gc-crystal-gloss
INCI: Diisostearyl Malate, Bis-dioctadecylamide Dimer Dilinoleic Acid / ethylenediamine Copolymer.
I haven’t tried it myself (though it’s in my wishlist), but the suppliers says that depending on the oil used you can obtain a liquid product.
