  • Neutralize Sulphur Odour?

Posted by Candace on May 3, 2018 at 10:29 pm

Does anyone have any ideas on what could be used to neutralize a sulphur odour in a pigmented cream?  I’m aware that it is the ultramarine blue in a cream base with a pH of 5.5 that is creating the off-putting scent.

However - we NEED the blue to neutralize orange tones and we prefer the formula to be at a pH below 6.

Of course - fragrance or essential oils could mask it.  I’m curious if there is something we can add to prevent this reaction entirely?

    Thank you!
