    Hi guys,
    I need help with a formula.  We have been asked to make a super cheap laundry detergent for some poor market/region of our country.  We do have good installation , that is initialy why we have been asked. ( we have been making biodiesel for several years).  My knowlegde is limited for that kind of formula.   I have never been working with water base formula.

    Here is the formula;
    9% LABSA
    89,9% WATER
    1% KOH 90%
    0.1 PARFUME

    The result is not enough tick.

    What do you suggest? should we use glycerine (since we do have alot because of the biodiesel byproduct)

    Thanks, sorry for my bad english by the way ;)

    You can add some SLES
    something like 12% neutralized LABSA, 6% SLES
    to thicken it up.

    KOH gets cloudier than NaOH
    Glycerin serves no purpose.
