  • Need Help Sourcing Powdered Surfactants

Posted by formulatordave on July 4, 2024 at 7:16 pm

I have been having difficulty finding a supplier who sells in powder form Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate and/or Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate. I have reached out to a number of manufacturers, and many of them sell only large quantities, 25 kilograms or more, or the manufacturers have been overseas and have been dodgy, or unresponsive, to questions. I am looking for a manufacturer that allows for the purchase of lower quantities, five pounds or less ideally.

Is anyone aware of manufacturers that sell these surfactants in powder form and that can ship to non-commercial addresses?

If it’s a lower quantity, perhaps you can purchase from a repacker, myskinrecipes has both and can ship internationally.

Appreciate it, haven’t heard of this company. I didn’t see these surfactants on their website, but I’ll keep them in mind. Are they known to be reputable, and not sourcing their products from less reputable sources?

Any manufacturers you’d recommend for larger quantities of these products?

They are from Thailand, there should be others that are on the forum that have bought from them before besides from myself for smaller quantities. I’m not too sure about the source perhaps you will have to ask them since there are different manufacturers producing them.

Many of us use them. Top notch.

A lot of times they rename the product. I suspect they have them…you just need to look a little deeper.

They ship DHL….you should have product in your hands….in 5 days.

Good to know. Appreciate that. I did see these two products, but one is liquid, the other is a blend of two surfactants. I’m looking for the powder form. I reached out and I’ll see what they say.
