Natural products claiming no preservative?
Lately I keep seeing all kinds of skincare cosmetics claiming no preservative at all
and i can’t help but wonder how they get away with it ?
Don’t they have to be using something ?
It bothers me a lot because to
me that would make the product unsafe. -

Sometimes is marketing and a carefully chosen set of words. Like claiming it doesn’t have added preservatives, doesn’t mean the raws don’t have *wink wink*

There are a variety of ingredients that effectively function as preservatives, but allow for “Preservative-Free” to be claimed.
Personally, I don’t quite understand the appeal of a “Preservative-Free” claim, but it must resonate with some particular consumer subset.

Not sure why they want to claim preservative free but hey it’s free of something so it’s a must buy!
Its all marketing.
