  My distilled water’s ph is wonky and weird!

  I guess i’ve never really tested the ph of my distilled water until today, and it turns out i can’t get a stable reading! it’s all over the place. Any other liquid I put my ph pen into gives me a solid stable reading. But for some reason my distilled water does not - until i add a chelating agent!

  I’m not a chemist, can someone explain to me what is going on? Is this water even reliable to use or should i go with another brand?
