Hello.  I am formulating a deodorant stick that I absolutely love and use, aside from a slight clumping issue I get when I rub it vigorously.  I know that “rubbing vigorously” isn’t the norm, but I want to be sure that normal wear and friction doesn’t create those pesky, clumpy little pieces of deodorant.  If I glide it over my arm and rub in, it does not do this, as it does if I rub it onto my underarm area.  It goes on beautifully and feels soft and dry, without drag.

Note: I have not tested the pH level as of yet.  Ingredients are as follows:

Stearyl Alc., Cetyl Alc., MCT Oil, Daikon Seed Ext., (for slip.  I’ve also experimented with Cyclomethicone and Dimethicone with same results), Tapioca Starch, Kaolin Clay, Cocoa Butter, Cupuacu Butter, Castor Oil, Fragrance.

Any advice on which ingredient would possible cause this?  I’ve played with the powders but still get the same result.

    Thank you so much.
