  Magnesium chloride percentage

  Morning all,

  Just getting my head around making a magnesium cream. I’m seeing quite low inclusion amounts online, so I’m wondering if I’m correct here or not?

  I want a 20% magnesium content in my finished cream.

  Therefore if I was to make a 1:1 ratio magnesium:water solution. I’d need to add 40% of that to my lotion formula to get 20% Magnesium content?

  Or is it when you add the solution the content in the final lotion is counted as the magnesium solution not just the magnesium? And therefore I’d add only the 20%
