    Hello guys,
I am formulation a liquid lipstick. I have faced a couple of issues:
I am using silicones like cyclopentasiloxane and dimethicone and also Isododecane whose smoke point is too low.
as you may be aware, we need some waxes (carnauba wax and polyethylene) to increase viscosity which is difficult with the volatile silicones and Isododecane.
1-please advise me of how to formulate the lipstick with the ingredients mentioned.

2-Is castor oil incompatible with the silicones? since I read a text in a book that these two groups cause a detrimental effect in the formulation!

@Nikifarokhi I believe Dimethicone and Isododecane are ok when mixing with your waxes at high temperature, but Cyclopentasiloxane should be added not higher than 40-45C.

Castor oil is indeed incompatible with some silicones. You can find here a link on information of compatible/incompatible materials you can use with Cyclomethicone, as a reference: https://samaro.fr/pdf/FT/XIAMETER_FT_PMX_0245-CYCLOPENTASILOXANE___EN_.pdf.
