    Hi Everyone,

I am making a dishwash cleaner and adding 15.63% of LABSA (96% purity), when I am analyzing the LABSA.Na, I am getting the result more than 17.00%.

    Ingredients are: Aqua, LABSA (15.63%), AOS (1%), NaOH (1.3%), TEA (3%), NaCl (1%), Cetrimidetech (0.005%), IPBC(0.2%), H2O2(0.1%).

I am analyzing with Hyamine and Benzothonium Clhoride.

    Factor using for LABSA.Na- 348.

Incoming factor of LABSA - 320.

    Please help me.

That’s very surprising, why don’t you get it done by a third party just to make sure.
Also I noticed you have NaOH and TEA both, specific reason here or just want to use a combination of alkalis.

NaOH and TEA are both proper neutralization.

Yeah but I have never seen TEA being used for a dishwash liquid, generally sodium hydroxide will do the job.

A re you running a methylene blue titration using hyamine 1622?

Yes using the methylene blue and chloroform are using in titration with hyamine. But I think there is problem in factor. Because this product is running in market since long time. But now we are facing result of LABSA.Na content.

    Ratio320/348 times 17 =15.6

Can I ask a question? why do you add H2O2?

I think your experiment is correct. you add 15.63 Labsa. then You neutralise it with caustic soda and TEA.

**LABSA is not a surfactant. after neutralization in turn into surfactant**Now, You have 2 types of surfactant with 2 molecular weights. 1. Na Las 328 g/mol 2. TEA LAS 475.7 g/mol 3. You did not calculate AOS as an active surfactant
