I already read an article by Perry about lab equipment but I still have doubts since it seems more suitable for lotions, foundation, etc. than powder.

Perry talks in the article about how important is the viscosity to choose a proper mixer, but if the product is a powder, I know in one point I need to add liquid ingredients but the final product is a solid so which is the proper mixer?

Will I need two types of blades, one for pigments and one for the liquids ingredients or the saw tooth blade is enough for all the ingredients in a powder?

I’m thinking that maybe using a beaker will not help to get an uniform mixing due the accumulated powder material in the edges and bottom so a stainless steel round pot is more appropriate?

Any advice in the equipment and procedure to make compact powder it will be helpful. Thanks!
