Isopropyl palmitate vs Isopropyl myristate
Just tried isopropyl palmitate vs isopropyl myristate.
IPP seems to have more odor than IPM.
IPP has a faint (and not so good) odor while IPM has a really near zero odor.
I’d like to know if you think my subjective perceptions about that are right…

Now I smelled again and both seem to have almost the same intensity of odor. ????

Without a sample of what you are smelling, it is difficult to say. The palmitate has a more diverse chemical makeup so it seems more likely it could smell worse. However, if the myristate has more of a molecule that causes the odor, I could see it smelling more.
