    According to this chart The Zein value of ALES/CAPB at %6/1 is three times less than SLES/CAPB at same ratio and amount. 
    Is this true?

    Apparently so. The ammonium ether sulfates are less irritating than their Na analogs. I’ll buy that.

    Of course, it’s hard to know how the graphed values translate to real life. Would a consumer actually notice a difference?

    @chemicalmatt interestingly even ALS when combined with CAPB is milder than SLES.

    @Perry maybe some people don’t notice but some will if the data shows they are milder. I will go for ALS to replace SLS in my shampoo.

    The Draize test says otherwise though.

    @zetein maybe sodium is milder for eye and ammonium is milder for skin.

    @Abdullah The table says ammonium lauryl sulfate is harsher for both.

    @zetein Draize test shows the mildness to eye not skin according to google search ????
