  Is this preservative enough for cationic emulsion?

  This is a cationic moisturizing lotion

  0.5% BTMS

  2% cetearyl alcohol

  12% glycerin

  5% petrolatum

  0.5% lactic acid

  pH 4.5-5

  Package: flip top cap bottle.

  Is 1.5ppm CMI MI+ 0.02% formalin enough to preserve this cationic emulsion?

  If not, what is it weak against ? Gram+ or gram - or yeast or mold?

  And should increase the amount of CMI MI or formalin to improve it?
