As I continue to experiment with finding what I feel is the best feeling emulsifier for an eye cream… I was just curious…if one could look at 1,000 eye creams….is there one emulsifier one might find in say….400 of them (40%)?  Maybe I am totally missing the boat…with working from my regular toolbox.  (BTW…I do not leave the haptics of a formula at the feet of the emulsifier…but hey…gotta start somewhere.)

Today I will try a version that will mainly be 165 with a kiss of Zen and GSC.

What are the general thoughts of adding some stearic acid (non-neutralized) for haptics in an eye cream?  Thinking 1% (as I will lose some viscosity that I need to recover with a primarily 165 type emulsion, dropping the Montanov partners I generally include).

    Aloha.

Preferably the most common O/W emulsifier. :)

My favorite for the face is Olivem 1000 paired with Oliwax LC. This is my most popular product through my clients, both - men and women.
