    I try to experience with AHA acids pH : (4, 5.5) actually 4.7 and AA2G ( ascorbic acids 2-glucose) pH: (4.5, 7) actually 5. The final pH: 4.0
    Does aa2g has problem if the final pH is not raised to > = 4.5 without using NaOH?

    Thank you so much for all responses to my questions

    @Dtdang If I interpret your question correctly here: there should not be any problem (in efficacy?) if that ascorbyl ether is formulated at pH 4.5 or lower.

    @chemicalmatt, the ascorbic acids 2-glucose is only efficacy in pH between 4.5 and 7

    @Dtdang
    According to manufacturer to avoid discoloration pH 6,5-6,7 is recommended. Moreover, it is suggested to use potassium hydroxide instead of sodium hydroxide.

    Actually, with pH 6,5 it doesn’t make sense to use AHA, but I had one product with Ascorbyl Glucoside with a pH below 4. It’s quite popular product, in fact after a few months I noticed that it turned dark, but maybe a shorter expiry date would be a solution.
