  how to make detergent tablets

  Hi, I am trying to understand how I can make detergent tablets at home. I have found a few starting formulation but I am not sure how to combine the ingredients and how to give the shape to the tablets. On a formula they say to use a ribbon mixer, which is quite expensive for my need. I am wondering if there is some more convenient options. Any help would be really appreciated. . thank you
