So I’m formulating a green clay mask, but realize it will dry if just placed in a normal jar without any ingredients to keep the water in it from evaporating, any ideas about ingredients I could add to increase its wet shelf life?

Some type of humectant perhaps.  Propylene glycol?  What is the whole formula?

Can you use a sealing disk for your jars? It’s a fairly common solution to this problem, so they should be easy to source.

Sealing lids are a good idea, just can’t seem to find any for 2 oz glass jars, will use plastic for now.

Ingredients for now - not INCId:

Deionized Water, French Green Clay, Calcium Carbonate, Willow Bark Extract (Standardized 10% Salicylic Acid), Witch Hazel Distillate (Alcohol Free), Zinc Oxide, Sodium Lactate, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Sea Kelp Bioferment, Powdered Sencha, Panthenol, Calendula Extract, Green Tea Extract, MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane), Niacinamide, Allantoin.
