    @Abdullah at that level & pH I always guess “until it hurts”   :) but seriously, perhaps 30 - 40 minutes.  At pH 6.0, several hours.

    So does it means if i apply a moisturizer instantly after lactic acid exfoliant it will reduce the effectiveness of exfoliant because it will increase the pH?

    There are leave on peels with 10% lactic or glycolic acid. I have not checked pH of those drug store peels but I use 10% glycolic with pH 3.3-3.4 overnight and my face hasn’t fallen off yet :) not every day.

    @ngarayeva001 do you apply anything else on top of exfoliant?
