I did make this LGN emulsion

    1% SLS

    5% FA

    Batch size 500g

Method: added SLS to water, heated to 70°c, added melted FA, homogenized for 1 minute then fast cooled it to 30°c in 1 minute by placing it in cold water and slow mixing.

It was water thin. Meaning no LGN was formed.

Same batch size, same method but slow cooling and it had high viscosity.

Question: how long of slow mixing minimum or rate of cooling (° temperature reduction per minute) maximum is required for emulsion to form LGN?
