Hello everyone, I am making an aqueous hair conditioning spray and I would like to add some cooling effect because it is very hot in our country especially in the summer. What kind of menthol i should add? Would I be needing a solubilizer, if so, what kind? This is what I am working with:

    Ingredient w/w%

    Distilled Water 90.90%

    Propylene Glycol 1.50%

    Centrimonium Chloride 0.70%

    Polyquartenium 7 2.00%

    Hydrolyzed Keratin 1.00%

    Panthenol 0.50%

    Ethylhexylglycerin and phenoxyethanol 1.00%

    Cucumber Extract 1.00%

    Moringa extract 1.00%

    Polysorbate-80 0.20%

    Fragrance 0.20%

Looking forward to your replies. Thank you

Should i heat it up or it is soluble in fragrance oil? How much menthol crystal you think should i work with that the customer can feel the effect of cooling when sprayed into the hair

What about Menthone Glycerin Acetal and Menthyl Lactate, ratio of 1 to 2 % each… Often found in cooling sticks, water based formulas…..
