Please see attachment that is the formula and calculate the HLB. It show the HLB of creamMaker green coffee = 12 to 13. But the HLB of oils = 8.04. But it still work even 8.04 < 12.
Please help. Do I calculate HLB of oil phase wrongly?  THANKS

    Thanks.
Is it correct that HLB of emulsifiers must be equal to HLB of oils phase?
    This case is not

HLB is for non-ionic emulsifiers. This is not an appropriate emulsifier for HLB calculations. In this case, forget HLB and use the recommendations of the distributor as listed in the above sheet.
