Hi, does anyone have any advice on which ingredients to use for a
shampoo formulation. This is not for human use, but for animal
hair - Horses white very stained yellow tails.

Requirement is to remove heavy yellow stains from the hair:

High cleansing stain removal shampoo (Reason - to strip some compounds and proteins from hair strands as
    below:)

Organic substances: Urea, hippuric, benzoic, uric, and
    oxalic acids and their salts

    Inorganic substances: lactates, carbonates, sulphates,
sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, e chloride of sodium and
    silica.

I also do not know how to make a shampoo formulation. I only
have experience in lotions and soap. So any chemistry advice on
chelating agents, high cleansing shampoo recipes, stain removing
ingredients, etc would be highly appreciated. I can purchase Sulfapon
and Cocamidopropyl Betaine, here in NZ, but that’s as far as I got. Many
    thanks.
