  Here’s a list of all the potentially animal derived cosmetic ingredients

  Most formulators stay away from animal derived ingredients.  However, it’s not always obvious which ingredients are derived from animals.  Fortunately, the US government commissioned a study on the subject which resulted in the Animal Derived Cosmetic Ingredient Database.
