Less Maxxthix PC-10 or switch polymers. Unless there’s more to your formula you’re not sharing?

Less PC-10 leads to watery sanitizer. But it is still forms sticky film on your skin. I need to solve this problem, as using PC-10 is the imperative requirment. If anybody have suggestions, I will be willing to give a try and post the results

So what is the remaining 20% in your formula? Just water?
Is it possible that you’re using too much glycerin? You won’t be able to get good help if you don’t provide all the information.
I don’t have experience with Maxxthixx PC-10 but it’s the only ingredient in your (incomplete) formula that could potentially make it sticky. You don’t want to add unnecessary ingredients that can potentially affect the virucidal and bactericidal effectiveness of your formulation. So you may just need to live with it, or switch polymers if you want an effective formulation.
Polymers naturally form films when they dry, choosing one that can be used at smaller percentage will reduce the negative skin feel.

Glycerin 100% Pure
15 ml
Hydrogen peroxide

One option to reduce stickiness is to completely delete Glycerin from your formula … glycerin actually reduces the effectiveness of the sanitizer. If after removing the Glycerin it is still too sticky, then the problem is the MaxxThix.
If you absolutely must use MaxxThix, your only option (besides removing Glycerin) is to reduce the % of MaxxThix or market a sticky hand sanitizer.

I did a lot of work with MaxxThix PC 10 and truthfully I don’t think you can get a good gel that doesn’t feel awful. It is not a good product for this application.
