Hello all! Thanks in advance for your feedback. Does anyone know what emulsifier to use when combining High Oleic Safflower oil and Vegetable Glycerin without them separating. I want to use 2oz of oil and 2oz of glycerin. If I need to use less glycerin, I am open to that at well. I’m using it for one of my hair products that will be applied to the scalp. I was told to use polysorbate 20 but after speaking with someone that knows a bit about formulating he stated that Poly was not the right one to use. He was not sure what to use and recommended that I come here. Your help and feedback would greatly appreciated! Thank you

Polyglyceryl esters of fatty acids will do this task. E.g. Polyglyceryl-6 oleate, polyglcyeryl-6 laurate, polyglyceryl-10 laurate, etc.

Thanks Matt so much for your reply. I really need some assistance with formulating these ingredients. Are you willing and able to assist me with this. Please. I have no idea how to mix that ingredient you mentioned. Is there a way we can speak over the phone? Also is that ingredient you mentioned safe to use on the scalp/skin? Can it be purchased here in the US? I was also told that some ingredients are banned from the US. Your help and assistance will be greatly appreciated!
