Heat stability of vitamins used in cosmetics and potential problems of cool down addition
Wondering whether the following vitamins can be added to the hot approx 70C water or in the case Ascorbyl Palmitate oil phase of a formula without risk of degradation, and if not, whether they’re OK to add during cooldown at around 40C and if doing so if they need to be added in a special way, e.g. dissolved in RT water or oil first.Vitamin B3 (niacinamide)Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid)Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine)
