Hair pomade best additifs?
For hair pomade as basic Lol:
Ceteareth25: 25%
Water:qsp
Preservative : 0.1%
Perfume:0.2%Many additifs can be introduced to the Lol I want more then the input the reasons of it.
So I see a lot of formulation with 5% peg 7 glyceryl cocoate why?
Also @chemicalmatt suggests glycerin, butyl glycol with ratio 1,1 same thing what add this combination?
@Chemist77 propose 2%polysorbate, glycerin /mpg
May be other propose peg dimethicone.
Also I guess @Bill_Toge suggest 5% Peg40 castor oil
In some formulation I find c12-15 alkyl benzoate

Before answering, what benefits do you want the hair pomade to provide?

@Perry i’am not searching for specific benefit I just want to know and learn the plus of every additif (in other way the reason of add) for the hair pomade
