  • Good solvent for liquid germall plus.

Made a slightly more microbe challenging formula the other day…..so decided to crack open the bottle of liquid Germall plus that had been gathering dust on the bench, to supplement my E.9010.

I was a little surprised at the gelatinous viscosity, which did not instill confidence when I hand stirred it in at the end.

Just curious, if I use it again…can I thin it out with one of the glycols I use, or cyclomethicone that I add at the end?  What would be a good solvent for liquid G +?

Propylene glycol or propanediol should be fine. I make my own liquid version with propanediol.

Reference to the solubility of the powder.

I’m with @PhilGeis. LG+ should be slightly viscous clear liquid, this seems to be off and I would not trust it.
