    Hi everyone

I am requested to create a facial cleanser (not a cream cleanser) with 17% glycolic and 3% salicylic . I tried several trials using several surfactants and gums, but can’t seem to reach a stable thickened formula. I am struggling to thicken it. I was trying in the pH range of 4 - 4.5. I would appreciate if someone suggests a blend of surfactants that works with such high load of acids and how to thicken them. N.B. I work for a contract manufacturer, so that’s a client request. While I know that this is such high acid content, I still have to do it

I have access to the below surfactants:

    SLES

    Ammonium lauryl sulphate

    Coco glucoside

    decyl glucoside

    CAPB

    sodium lauroamphoactetate

    sodium lauryl sarcosinate

    sodium cocoyl glutamate

    sodium stearoyl glutamate

I also have access to : xanthan gum, guar gum, carrageenan, ultrez 20, sepimax zen, lecigel

    TIA

Supposed that a lot of listed thickeners works in this pH range.
