Hey everyone, I recently got this shampoo recipe, and I really like how it turned out, but I got it in grams, and I don’t know how to turn it in percentages to make a bigger batch the formula is

    Water    424.44
    Glycerin       10.22g
    Bamboo extract  5.00g
    Alpha olefin sulfonate  152.00g
Deflu glucoside and sodium lauryl   51.26g
    Almond oil    5.25g
    Peg 7 glyceryl cocoate      8.20g
    Polyquaternium 10     2.64g
    Peg 150 distearate        7.54g
    Silk amino acid           7.83g
    Optiphen plus              5.05g
    Fragrance                    3.74g

this made an 8oz bottle of shampoo

    1. Add up all the grams. This is your total
    2. Divide each ingredient amount by the total.
    3. Multiply each number by 100 to get %

    So water = 424.44/683.17 x 100 = 62.13%

I would also mention…that Opti Plus has a pH sensitive component.  I would make sure your formula falls into that range.
