Formulator fee
Hello, I am looking to hire a formulator to reformulate a product that is already on the market. It is not very stable due to coconut oil. How much should I expect to spend if I want someone to do R&D, provide me with samples and the rights to own the formula. Please let me know if you need more information about the product to be able to answer my question. Thank you. Tamy

It depends on formula complexity, and what stability tests will the formulator do.
Even so, you may find with an “as is” formula, so you can’t sue in case the formula becomes unstable in a couple years, but it doesn’t show in accelerated testing. -
