    Hi Guys,

I have just try brewing another 2 batch of hair clay wax but i am not sure why it have those effect and i wish some experienced brewer here are able to advice me on that.

I have take a picture of both sample.

    Sample 1

May i know why the wax does not solidify? I let it cool in a fridge for 30mins or so but yet only the top layer solidify but not the underneath? And also why do i spot bubbles? Is it that i stir too much using the electrical spinner?

    2nd Sample

The ingredients i used remains the same just that i uses less Kaolin and Bentonite clay in this batch. But it became too thick but the texture and hold is what i want to achieve. Anyone able to help enlighten me on this part please.

Some extra information. Basically i melt my Wax phase to 70degree and then i let it cool to around 60degree. Follow by adding Water phase which i heat up to 60degree~

Once i add them both, i stir for alittle while and then i add in the Kaolin + Bentonite Clay bit by bit. I remain the temperature throughout 50-60degree before letting it cool to <40 degree and add in my preservative and essential oil.

    Thanks in advance kind soul!
