    Hey guys, this is my first post.
    Below is the ingredient list for salt hair spray. My question is where is the solubilizer for the oils, am I missing something?

    Water (Aqua), Sea Salt (Sodium Chloride), Glycerin, Hydrolyzed Quinoa
    Protein, Honeysuckle (Lonicera japonica) Flower Extract, *Green Tea
    Gunpowder (Camellia sinensis) Extract, *Rooibos (Aspalathus linearis)
    Leaf Extract, Argan (Argania spinosa) Oil, DL-Panthenol, Tocopherol,
    Citric Acid

    Dont know but the only Oil I can see is Argan Oil and likely below or equal to 1%  and the other ingredients before that are likely all Water or Glycerin based.

    Speaking of things missing…how about the weak preservative…the Honeysuckle?  I have wanted to ask the good Dr @PhilGeis …. I have always wondered if this was just the second act of GSE?  It contains para-hydroxy benzoic acid, so they can probably get by with spiking it with parabens?  Any insight on this preservative ruse?  (Don’t worry…no plans on switching to it…just always curious.)

    Think it’s BS.  Like all the true naturals, essential oils, hydrosols, etc. - the composition will vary greatly - individual constituents by orders of magnitude-  between batches.  So even if parabens, and analysis can be flawed in  these reports, you can’t count on it.

    @dazed:

    There is no solubilizer.  The Argan Oil and Tocopherol are almost certainly added at less than 0.5% each, so they just jammed them together.

    @Gaillotion:  I don’t think the Honeysuckle included in this formula is intended as a preservative, but rather simply as a plant extract and they are relying on a very high load of salt to provide the preservation.

    The honeysuckle extract that is sold as a preservative is comprised of two different species of honeysuckle extract:  Lonicera Caprifolium (honeysuckle) flower extract, Lonicera Japonica (honeysuckle) flower extract
