I am trying to find a reason as to why some oils foam like isododecane or similar volatile ones (those I have handled) whereas others don’t e.g. mineral oil. I am not sure how stupid I sound but I would like to know the reason behind it.

    Thnx

Is it because of the structure like branched and linear or some other reason????
