    Hello everyone!
There is this french fluid shampoo that claims to be “no detergent”
    https://www.bioderma.fr/fr/nos-produits/node/shampooing-fluide
My mother only uses it and I’ve tried and also liked it.
Does anyone have any idea for copycatting it?
Im interested in formulating it as it is quite costy (9 euros a bottle).

AQUA/WATER/EAU, CAPRYLYL/CAPRYL GLUCOSIDE, PEG-150 DISTEARATE, PEG-6 CAPRYLIC/ CAPRIC GLYCERIDES, PEG-15 COCOPOLYAMINE, SODIUM LAUROYL OAT AMINO ACIDS, LACTIC ACID, SODIUM CITRATE, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, QUATERNIUM-80, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, MANNITOL, XYLITOL, RHAMNOSE, PHENOXYETHANOL, TETRASODIUM EDTA, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, FRUCTOOLIGOSACCHARIDES, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, FRAGRANCE (PARFUM). “No detergent” eh?
What do you think CAPRYLYL/CAPRYL GLUCOSIDE is? And this? PEG-15 COCOPOLYAMINE
    Hahaha!

After spending well over $500 on the quest to formulate my own shampoo, I think 9 euros is cheap for a shampoo that one likes ;) I wouldn’t recommend going down the same rabbit hole if it is to save money.

Thanks Belassi. I’m new here but from what I’ve read, you are very participative, that’s nice of you

The glucoside is a non-ionic surfactant and the cocopolyamine is a pseudo-cationic conditioner. We use that in all our shampoos actually (Polyquart H81) at 1%, it gives a ‘volumising’ effect and makes the hair more manageable. PEG 150 distearate is just a thickener.
PEG-6 CAPRYLIC/ CAPRIC GLYCERIDES acts like a water soluble oil that doesn’t depress foam too much, it’s an emollient / refatting agent.
SODIUM LAUROYL OAT AMINO ACIDS is a gentle anionic surfactant.
All the rest is of no consequence, it’s claims ingredients, pH adjusters, buffering, fragrance and preservative.
I would say it should not be too difficult to duplicate this product but it will not be cheap to make.

PEG-6 CC glycerides is a mild surfactant too. It’s used in micellar water.
