Feminine Wash
My formulation consists of 5% SLES, 3% Betaine, 6% D-Panthenol, 15% Glycerin, 0.15% Citric Acid, 1.0% Propylene Glycol, 0.6% Euxyl PE, 0.05% EDTA, and fragrance. After adding 14% Sodium Chloride, the solution still lacks the desired thickness. I tried using Xanthan Gum as a thickener, which achieved the viscosity but resulted in an undesirable appearance. Could you provide any advice?

Lower the salt level thats too high
add thickner like HPMC or Carbomer

add something for fungi and Gram + bacteria

There’s no reason for having so much panthenol (very water soluble) in a rinse-off product. Same goes for the glycerin which not only doesn’t perform in a rinse-off formula, it won’t let you build viscosity and will impair foam. Use no more than 0.5% of both. Also, salt additions should be done gradually (for instance, increments of 0.2%).
